What is a portable cabin?

A portable cabin is a building that is built off site in a factory and then delivered by road to site complete, there is no assembly required thus it is a cost effective and quick site accommodation solution. When the lorry pulls up to the area the cabin is to be sited it simply drops the building into place straight onto ideally a flat hard ground or concrete base and you ready to use the space. The cabin being a self contained building is designed to be transportable from site to site which is why is also known as a temporary cabin or jackleg cabin.

A portable cabin can be made of timber or steel frame with the external finish being Timber, Plastisol steel or steel.
